Become a Solar123 Featured Installer: exclusive, unlimited solar leads in your county

Solar123 helps Irish homeowners, businesses and farmers understand solar, SEAI grants and tax reliefs, then passes consented enquiries to SEAI-registered installers. We are taking on one founding installer per county: every enquiry from your county goes to you only, from €100 a month.

Who Solar123 is

Solar123 is an Irish solar advisory and quote-matching service based in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary. We publish plain-English guides on solar PV, batteries, SEAI grants, planning exemptions, the Clean Export Guarantee and business tax reliefs. When a homeowner or business owner is ready to move forward, they send us an enquiry and agree that we can share their details with installers who will survey and quote. We do not install systems ourselves, so we are not competing with you for the job – our role is to bring well-informed customers to the right installer.

The Featured Installer programme is how we decide which installers receive those enquiries, and in which counties. It is built for established, properly registered firms that want a steady, transparent source of residential and commercial solar leads without chasing cold calls or paying for clicks that never convert.

Advice first

Customers read our grant, battery and system-size guides before they enquire, so they usually arrive understanding the basics – what the SEAI grant covers, why a survey is needed, and that a written contract comes before works.

Consent-based sharing

Every enquiry includes explicit consent to share the customer’s details with a named, limited number of installers. No scraped lists, no bought data.

Irish and independent

We are a small Tipperary business focused only on solar in Ireland. We work with installers across the country and keep the process simple: clear rules, clear lead details, clear pricing in your partner agreement.

How we generate enquiries

Our leads come from organic search and useful content, not from cold calling or purchased databases. People find Solar123 while researching solar for their own home, farm or business, and contact us when they want quotes. Our main lead sources are:

SEO content

Detailed guides on solar panels for homes, system options, battery storage and comparing quotes, written for Irish search terms and Irish conditions.

Grant guides

Up-to-date explanations of the SEAI domestic and non-domestic grants, the battery grant, and the enhanced grant for welfare recipients – some of the most-searched solar topics in Ireland.

Industry pages

Sector landing pages for farms, hotels and hospitality, retail, offices and more (see industries we service), aimed at commercial owners researching the Non-Domestic Microgen Grant and Accelerated Capital Allowances.

Calculators and tools

Planning tools such as our solar carport calculator help visitors size a project before they enquire, which means they come to you with realistic expectations.

Quote request form

A structured quote form collects the details you need to decide whether to follow up, and records the customer’s consent to share.

Phone and email

Some customers call or email us directly. We capture the same details and consent before anything is passed on.

We do not publish lead volume forecasts. Enquiry numbers vary by county, season and lead type, and we will not promise a set number of leads.

What a Solar123 lead includes

Each enquiry is checked by a person before it is released. We look for obvious errors, duplicates and incomplete contact details. A standard lead includes the fields shown in the table, where the customer has provided them.

Where useful, we also pass on free-text notes, for example roof orientation, shading concerns, an existing solar system that needs a battery, or an EV charger that is planned. Customers are told that installers will contact them to arrange a survey and a written quote.

We cannot guarantee that every customer will proceed. A lead is a genuine, consented enquiry from someone who wants to talk to an installer, not a signed contract.

Leads are released only to installers covering the customer’s area and lead type, in line with the consent the customer gave.

Lead types

Featured Installers choose the lead types they want. You can take one, two or all three, depending on your team, accreditation and capacity.

Homeowner solar PV

Owner-occupiers looking for rooftop solar, often with a battery, interested in the SEAI domestic grant. Since 6 October 2026, SEAI’s solar PV grant is open to homes built and occupied before 2025, which widens the pool of eligible houses. Some customers also qualify for the enhanced grant for people on certain social welfare payments.

Battery retrofit

Households that already have solar panels and want to add storage. SEAI now offers a €600 battery grant for a 5kWh battery, which can be applied for separately where panels are already installed. These jobs are smaller but can suit firms with strong battery experience.

Commercial and farm

Businesses, farms, hotels, schools and community buildings exploring larger systems, the SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen Grant, TAMS for farms and Accelerated Capital Allowances. These enquiries often need NC6 or NC7 grid applications and a more detailed site assessment.

Grant details verified on SEAI’s solar electricity grant page and commercial solar PV page, 25 October 2026.

Coverage by county

We accept applications from installers covering any of the 26 counties in the Republic of Ireland. When you apply, you tell us exactly which counties you serve and which lead types you want in each one. Many installers cover a home county plus a few neighbouring counties; others run national commercial teams. We match leads by Eircode or town, so you only receive enquiries inside the area you have chosen.

Munster

Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford.

Leinster

Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, Wicklow.

Connacht

Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo.

Ulster (ROI)

Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan.

When you register with SEAI you also state the counties you service. We ask that your Solar123 coverage matches what you can genuinely survey and install within a reasonable timeframe.

Founding member offer: one installer per county

We are signing one founding installer in each county. Your county’s enquiries, domestic and commercial, go to you and nobody else. Once a county is taken, it is closed to other installers.

Exclusive and unlimited

Every enquiry from your county comes to you only, with no cap on numbers and no per-lead charge. We never sell your county’s leads to other installers.

€100 a month to start

Founding price of €100 a month for the first 3 months, then €199 a month. Extra counties are €50 a month each. If you get no leads in your first month, month two is free.

Publicity included

A featured profile on Solar123 and articles about your company and your work, published on our site.

Founding pricing is only for the first installer signed in each county. Installers joining later pay the standard rate. Terms are confirmed in your partner agreement.

Requirements to join

Customers trust us to send them to properly registered, insured installers. Every applicant must meet the requirements below, and we will ask for evidence before you receive any leads.

SEAI registration

For domestic grant work, your company must be on SEAI’s Solar PV company register with at least one SEAI-registered installer who is an owner, director or direct employee. For commercial grant work under the Non-Domestic Microgen scheme, SEAI keeps a separate registration. SEAI’s installer forms require Safe Electric registration plus solar PV training (for example QQI 6N0306 Micro Solar PV Systems Implementation and 6N0307 Micro-Generator Electrical Installation, or approved equivalents). Registered companies must work to SEAI’s Domestic Solar PV Code of Practice and use a written contract (SEAI’s model contract or equivalent) before works begin. Sources: SEAI Solar PV company form, NDMG installer registration form.

Safe Electric registration

Electrical contractors in Ireland must be registered with Safe Electric, the legal regulatory scheme operated by the Electrical Safety Supervisory Body on behalf of the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU). The Registered Electrical Contractor must issue a completion certificate when works are finished, and SEAI’s domestic grant claim requires a copy of the Safe Electric (often still called “RECI”) certificate. See CRU: RGI and Safe Electric.

Insurance

Current insurance meeting SEAI’s minimums for registered companies: public liability of at least €6.5 million for any one event, product liability of at least €6.5 million in aggregate, and overall indemnity of at least €13 million for any one event, plus employer’s liability for companies. We ask for a copy of your current certificate or SEAI-stamped declaration.

Reviews and track record

Links to independent customer reviews (for example Google reviews) and a short summary of your experience with domestic, battery and commercial installs. We do not set a minimum number of reviews, but we do read them.

Response-time commitment

An agreement to contact each customer promptly – we ask Featured Installers to make first contact within one working day – and to tell us if you cannot take on a lead so it can be offered elsewhere.

GDPR handling of leads

Customer details are personal data. You must use them only to respond to that enquiry, store them securely, not resell or share them, and honour any request to stop contact. We will ask you to sign a short data-sharing agreement. Guidance is available from the Data Protection Commission.

Registration requirements checked against SEAI and CRU documents on 25 October 2026. SEAI’s rules can change; your own SEAI registration is always the authority.

Benefits of featured placement

Informed customers

Customers have usually read our guides on grants, system sizing and batteries, so first conversations can focus on their roof and their budget rather than the basics.

Matched to your area

Leads are filtered by Eircode or county and by lead type, so you only see enquiries you can serve.

Clear consent

Every lead carries recorded consent to be contacted by installers, which supports your own GDPR obligations.

Your profile on Solar123

Featured Installers may be listed on relevant county and sector pages with your company name, counties, SEAI and Safe Electric status, and a link to your reviews.

Commercial and farm reach

Our industry pages target business, farm and hospitality owners researching the Non-Domestic Microgen Grant and capital allowances – enquiries that are hard to reach through general advertising.

No long tie-in

Terms are set out in your partner agreement. You can pause or change counties and lead types by agreement as your capacity changes.

Featured Installer FAQs

How much does it cost?

Founding members pay €100 a month for the first 3 months, then €199 a month, for exclusive, unlimited leads in one county. Extra counties are €50 a month each. If you get no leads in your first month, month two is free. You won’t pay anything until you’ve signed the partner agreement.

How many leads will I get?

We do not promise lead volumes. Numbers vary with county, season, grant announcements and the lead types you choose. We would rather be upfront about that than quote figures we cannot stand over.

Do I need to be SEAI registered?

Yes, for any work where the customer intends to claim an SEAI grant. The domestic solar PV and battery grants and the Non-Domestic Microgen Grant can only be paid where an SEAI-registered company and installer carry out the works. We may consider non-grant commercial work case by case, but Safe Electric registration and full insurance are always required.

How many installers receive each lead?

One. As a founding member, every enquiry from your county goes only to you. If a customer asks for more than one quote, or your county has no founding member yet, we may introduce another Featured Installer, and the customer is always told who will contact them.

What if a lead is invalid?

If contact details are wrong, the enquiry is a duplicate, or the property is outside your chosen area, tell us. Our partner agreement sets out how invalid leads are handled.

Can I choose only commercial or only battery leads?

Yes. You choose your lead types per county when you apply, and you can change them later by agreement.

How do you handle customer data?

Customers give consent for their details to be shared with installers before we pass anything on. We send only what is needed to respond to the enquiry, and Featured Installers agree to handle that data in line with GDPR and not to share or resell it.

Will you tell customers which installer to choose?

No. We encourage customers to compare quotes on system design, components, warranties and price, and to check SEAI registration. The decision is always theirs. Read more about how Solar123 works.
